The Jancee Pornick Casino + Kathy X at Cortina Bob, Berlin

Cortina Bob is one of those great places hidden from common sight that you love to discover in Berlin, the only problem is that you have to be in time cause concerts start and end early due to some "restriction" ...00.00 everything must be over..like cinderella's fairytale.
So this time we were there as soon as the doors opened...We got our favorite hefeweizen beer and we waited...



Kathy X was the support band. A perfect sample of the "never grow old" spirit...Great sound that mixed rockabilly and punk with the singer's country based voice. Even though we had the feeling that our favorite teacher climbed on stage and became a rockstar for a night, this band has already 5 cds on the market!!!

Where country meets kalinka, muppet show babushkas and east west....There you can find The Jancee Pornick Casino.
It wasn't the beautiful bass-balalaika, neither the front man who was rocking in high octane, not even their version of Iron Maiden's Number of the beast...that rock'n'roll goes to Russia style of them just drives you crazy.
Words are not enough to describe what i experienced...Just one advice wherever you catch them in their tour around europe, don't miss them, you will regret it for ever!!!
