Don't worry, it's not so difficult!
We still see some strange musicplayers or outdated versions being used to connect to our radio but failing. Don't give up, we got some great tunes in store for you, so get with it and update yourself (and your computer!)
Here is a list of confirmed musicplayers that support AAC+ in order of recommendation:
Winamp @ http://www.winamp.com/
VLC Player @ http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Foobar2000 @ http://www.foobar2000.org/
AIMP2 @ http://www.aimp2.us/
Windows Media Player (only with the free Orban plug-in installed)
Songbird @ http://www.songbirdnest.com/
Real Player version 11 or higher @ http://eu.real.com/realplayer
All these musicplayers are freeware.
Also there are some applications for your Smartphone, iPhone or iPad that will allow you to tune into the radio! Yeah Right Radio on the go!!
In general it's always best to have the latest version of the music player you prefer to use, so check for updates or use the FileHippo.com Update Checker @ http://www.filehippo.com/updatechecker which is a great freeware tool to keep your programs up-to-date!
Some browser (i.e. Firefox) may ask you to install a plugin to support your player inside the browser. Or it may ask which program you would like to use to play the radiostream so you have to asign any of the listed programs above to this.
We present two protocols to receive the radio-stream. Most of the above-named players support the http-stream while for instance Winamp and VLC also support the icyx-stream. You might want to save these links to your desktop, so you can start the radio anytime without going to the Yeah Right website!
In order to play the embedded Windows Mediaplayer on our page, you must have Mediaplayer installed with the free Orban plug-in!
Still can't get it to work? Send a message to support@yeahright.eu so we can help you out! Just state which operating system you use and which musicplayers you have installed on your system.
