one more round...

just a small recap since our previous Tour de Europe...

After a very succesfull Berlin Beat Explosion it was time to check out the sunny side of Europe for some hot party action. So we headed to Benidorm for what is presumably gonna be the last edition of the Funtastic Dracula Festival.

Flying from Berlin to Alicante means a change-over at Madrid and as I am not too fond of flying, the music system in the airplane tried to calm me down by playing air-friendly instrumental music. I didn't pay much attention to it untill it occured to me on our descend to Madrid airport that the words "yesterday... all my troubles seemed so far away..." popped up in my head. Yes indeed, it got me worrying but we made it safely to the ground and brave as we are we entered the other plane that would take us to Alicante. Again the same re-assuring instrumental music on the speakers and just before we are about to take off, one more song to calm me down! "And now... the end is near... so I face my final curtain..." Are you kidding me? You can't play this on an airplane!!

Anyway despite all the scary shit we made it in one piece to Benidorm. Not much sunshine but a great Funtastic party nevertheless. Although the venue Ku is infamous for it's awfull sound, it is a marvelous place! This flying saucer-shape venue got all the features for a great party sixties style and yes that's including a swimming pool and fireworks!!

Check out the videos on our youtube channel to see the bands in action. Forget about the sound and concentrate on the action :-)
Also don't forget to check out the pictures on our facebook-page. You might be in it ;-)

Back in Berlin, we had just a week before our beloved Soundflat's Ballroom Bash would start in Leipzig, but we managed to squeeze in 3 great gigs. Yeah Right Party-spirit all the way!!
Os Haxixins in Bassy Club had a great set, so better check out the videos, awesome and a lot of fun!!
Then we went to Davila 666 (who also played at the Funtastic Dracula) in a small squad-like ex-doctor's office called West-Germany. Yeah just like they we're playing in your livingroom haha just imagine 6 people trying to fit on stage and go wild :-) So most of the floor became their stage as they played amidst the gathered public!
And returning in Berlin after their succesfull show in Bassy Club, were The Mutants but now in Wild in Heart. Great show with a lot of fun on stage and a special break for the percussion-guy.

With party-mode in overdrive we went off to Leipzig for the annual Soundflat's Ballroom Bash... as always you should have been there so be sure to check out the pictures on facebook and some great videoshots that say it all. This is definitely something to put on your calendars for the next year!!

Done partying? ...don't think so!

We'll be off to Greece, Shakin' in Athens with the Coalminers Cooperation and yes if that's not enough, watch out for the Norwegian Invasion in Athens!

That's right, the Garage & Surf Weekender with 5 Norwegian and 2 Greek bands that'll drink till they can't nomore hahaha Akevitt versus ούζο and hell yeah they also play ;-) It's gonna be some hot nights!

:-)
