Action Time Radio - Episode 31 Halloween Spooktacular

ATR Logo photo ATRBlogBanner.jpg

Welcome to this week's very special, very spooky, creeptacular Halloween episode of Action Time Radio! Most of today's show features Halloween or monster themes songs or bands, and a few other minor key cuts that just sorta sound eerie... Naturally, today's featured artist is Satan's Pilgrims. Not only one of the greatest bands to ever come out of the third wave surf revival of the 90s, but also, one of the most thematically fitting bands of all time. In fact, we've gone beyond the pale and presented a third featured act tune in the show today. So, let's knock over some gravestones, dig up some musical caskets, and find out what's inside.

1. Satan’s Pilgrims – Frankenstomp
2. The Invisible Men – Spooks Night Out
3. The Cult of Dom Keller – Nowhere To Land New
4. The Finks – Haunted Fink
5. Swingin’ Neckbreakers – No Costume, No Candy
6. The Woggles – The Elbow Twist
7. The Bruthers – I’m Gonna Be Alone
8. The Frantics – Werewolf
9. Food Brain – Liver Juice Vending Machine
10. Satan’s Pilgrims – Grave-Up
11. The Embrooks – Bad Flight
12. ZZ En De Maskers – Dracula
13. The Ghastly Ones – Ghastly Stomp
14. Zuma – Night Of The Sadist
15. The Basements – Run Away Run
16. The Witches – Lost With The Real Gone
17. The Cavemen V – Zombie Hop
18. Rocket From The Crypt – I Drink Blood
19. Stereophonic Space Sound Unlimited – Vampire Walk
20. Satan’s Pilgrims – Haunted House Of Rock

Hope you enjoyed our first Halloween special at Spooky Time Radio! Next week, things are back to normal...or as normal as they get around here! Do tune in next Thursday, at 10pm CET, 9pm GMT, 4pm U.S. Eastern Time, and 2pm U.S. Mountain Time. In the meantime, you can hear this show again tomorrow at 4am CET, 3am, GMT, 10pm ET, 8pm MT, and again the following monday at 6pm CET, 5pm GMT, noon ET, 10am MT. So pretty much whatever time of day you like your internet radio, there's a day of the week when Action Time Radio is convenient for you!

The Cavemen Five - Don't Play With Me / Zombie HopX-Ray Spex in the Garage?

Not moody at all, but highly energetic stompers that will get your feet moving at the first beat! And why not, these French cavemen show that some good sax will blow off the roof of any cave-party!

And on top of that a great addition for your 2012 Halloween party: do the Zombie Hop, ready or not!

Halloween around the World in 36 Hours...

Yeah Right Radio gives you 36 of your scariest hours from dusk till dawn as we follow Halloween from sunset to sunrise ...and this time it may be the longest night of your life...

Starting 31st of October at 0700 CET as it slowly gets dark in the far east corner of this earth, be sure to board our night train as we travel along through the darkness with the earth's rotation untill we see the sun rise in the far west corner of this globe.

This Halloween extravaganza will be filled with all sorts of trick and treat surprises, some well known and others real grave digging finds. We make three stops along the way to treat you on a few Halloween specialty shows by our favorite dj crews!

First show starts at 1200 CET, where Jonah Gold and his silver Apples experiment with alchemy and try what noone has done before: turning apples into pumpkins! Some black magic and a rusty chainsaw may do the trick!

Next Show is at 1800 CET when the RareJerks will dig through the dusty cellars of their haunted castle looking for long gone halloween spirits and may awake more than you dared to believe in...

Last Show will be at Midnight CET, as the pumpkins are desperately trying to find a way to lift the spell and become apples again... well they should have known never to take candy from a stranger hahaha

36 Hours all and only Halloween songs from almost every grave we could rob :-)

Join us for this spooky ride and meet your feared fellow passengers like mumbling mummies, blood-drooling dracula, freaky frankenstein, groovy ghouls and a lot more creatures of the dark...

hahahahahahahaaaaaa.....

Halloween around the globe!

That's right, you freaky ghouls! ...Drac's Back!!!

Halloween around the globe!

Yeah Right Radio is blasting into Halloween at the international Date Line in timezone GMT+12hr in the middle of the Pacific Ocean as the sun looses it's last rays there at approx. 18.00 on 31/10 Local Time (that is at 06.00 GMT 31/10).

We'll be following the world as it turns from dusk till dawn untill the sun comes up again at the other side of the international Date Line in timezone GMT-12hr at approx. 06.00 on 01/11 Local Time (that is 18.00 GMT 01/11) so every gravedigger can have a monsterbash all through the night and the day!

Yeah right, this will be a trick or treat of non-stop Halloween monster hits with a span of one and a half day blasting through the air-waves some of the most unlikely creepy songs defying all musical taste.

Beware of bloodsucking Dracula with of course our favorite servant Igor... Frankenstein with some nifty experiments... the Wolfman will be howling as soon as the moon breaks through the clouds and just before twilight the mummies come dancing with the reaper...so by the time the sun comes up again you'll mostly likely have been turned into a zombie!

one more thing... I suggest you look behind you!

Yeah right!!
...it was only a suggestion!

And... since Halloween falls on the last sunday of october, the European continent will go back from summertime to wintertime so on 31/10 at 03.00 at night the clock turns back to 02.00 for all you ghouls to re-live your finest darkest hour hahaha

For all you nightcrawlers having problem keeping time... hahaha well, who needs a watch when you live forever? hahaha... nevertheless here's The Halloween Global Time Table:
