Going back to minus 1 or less after spending a month in the southern part of Europe....the part we cannot speak the name....Greece, is a big change. First of all we have to say for sure goodbye to the sun for some months, thank god nights here are awesome, and second, wear all the winter outfit while some days ago we were walking around in short sleeves, thank god winter outfit is more stylish.....
We danced with the Coalminers in their Shakin' in Athens Volume 2 and we surfed at the Surf & Garage Weekender with Greek and Norwegian bands, just to prove that despite the difficulty of this time period in Greece, good times are still on :-)
You can see photos in our facebook fan page gallery, click here for Shakin' in Athens and here plus here for the two days of the Surf & Garage weekender.
Death by Unga Bunga were a real smash.... these youngsters blew out completely our minds. If they play like this now, wait and see in the next years! And of course all the bands of the weekender, the Launderettes, Torqueflite, The Mobsmen, Burt Rocket and the local heroes, the Mongrelettes and the Crooks.... girls and guys you set the city on fire....this is why temperature was over 20 that weekend.....;)
Ah.... and a big thanks to Sofoklis, Thanassis and Ingrid for being the heart and mind behind the weekender, dont wait one more year, let's have one more half way...
Till we meet again.....sounds and images to spice and warm you up ;)
